More than Puppy Love

Jess and Dom are childhood sweethearts so comfortable and expressive in their look of the world and their relationship.  Easy going and quite obviously in love these two are so very different from each other but compliment eachother in every - they are eachother's ying ang yang.  One thing they do share the same views on and quite obviously get so much joy and love from is their two beloved hounds Boss and Sash.  Jess and Dom were both adamant that their engagement photos include the "kids".  Now we all know the age old saying... "never work with kids and animals"... well this photo session made a furphy out of this little rule!!  These hounds were spectacularly behaved and so obviously loved by their owners, it was pretty special to say the least!  With Jess and Dom's wedding day just around the corner, no doubt I will be seeing these two prized pooches once more and sharing in the love of this special family unit.  XoX

In Love Body and Soul

I had been speaking to Alana for over a year regarding her upcoming beautiful wedding day. She was always relaxed and open to just about anything... as long as she finally became Mrs "man of her dreams" and marry her best friend, lover and soul mate, then she was happy. The day finally arrived and Alana was more relaxed than any bride I have ever encountered and she only had eyes for her man. It really was a blessing to see the love these two had for each other and because of this, the day was a glorious declaration of their love and commitment in front of their friends and family. I truly wish for everyone to experience even half of the love these two shared. Thanks Alana and Rick for allowing me to be a part of your special day. xx

A Family Event

Although Brett and Keara came to me with no expectations we did have one slight little problem we needed to work thorugh - Keara hated having her photograph taken!  Now as I explained to Keara this did make it a little difficult with her being the bride!  However when the day finally arrived I went in ever so casually making no demands and working at Keara's pace.  She slowly began to relax and I really don't think she realised how beautiful she looked and even more so when she smiled! This wedding was a blending of familes and for most, it was the first time meeting.  It was wonderful to see the interaction and people moments which occured throughout the day and into the evening so I felt it really important to capture these "family" moments which Keara and Brett were ever so appreciative of.  When Keara saw her images for the first time she was thrilled (which of course I love hearing!) but nothing I said to her could convince her that it was her own beauty and hapiness which made images so special.
